Centennial Institute: Biden admin launches war on the unborn
LAKEWOOD, Co. — Jeff Hunt, director of the Centennial Institute, releases this statement following President Biden’s executive order signed today that would reverse the Mexico City Policy and commit U.S. taxpayer funds to international organizations that promote or perform abortions overseas:
“We’re using taxpayer dollars to fund abortions — in other countries. Let that sink in for a moment. In the midst of a pandemic where Americans are suffering, we’re going to take taxpayer dollars to fund the unconscionable practice of abortion in other countries. By reversing the Mexico City Policy, the Biden administration is making it clear that abortion-to-birth is their policy — and American taxpayers will be stuck with the bill.
“The announcement comes just days after a Marist poll shows 77% of Americans surveyed either “‘oppose’ or ‘strongly oppose’ using tax dollars to support international abortion” and “only 19% of Americans either ‘support’ or ‘strongly support’ funding abortions outside the US.”
“The Centennial Institute is raising up a generation of young people to embrace the sanctity of life. It’s time for America to end abortion.”
