CCU for Israel: Behold Israel

Due to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Amir Tsarfati is no longer able to join us on Thursday. Mike Golay will present on his behalf and provide an on-the-ground update from Amir regarding the situation in Israel.

Join the Centennial Institute and Colorado Christian University for CCU for Israel, featuring Mike Golay, Vice President of Operations for Behold Israel.

In the wake of the horrific events of October 7, 2023, the Centennial Institute launched the CCU for Israel initiative to demonstrate the University’s firm support for Israel and foster an inter-faith conversation on significant issues of concern, including the condemnation of antisemitism in all forms.

Tension continues in the Middle East as Israel continues to fight for its right to exist in the Gaza Strip. Many Christians understand Israel’s biblical significance, but what role does it play in modern times? Amir will examine Israel’s modern and biblical significance, including its biblical, historical, and legal rights to the land.

About Mike Golay

Pastor Mike Golay is the Vice President of Operations of Behold Israel. Before this, Mike was the Lead Pastor of Friendship Church in Shakopee, Minnesota, for 17 years. Additionally, he serves as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Pastor Mike lived and worked in Israel for over eight years and has led numerous ministry teams, including Jesus Film projects in the Galilee region. He is also proficient in Hebrew and has extensive experience with Jewish and Israeli culture.

Additionally, Pastor Mike has a deep passion and knowledge for Bible teaching and Israel’s role in prophecy. He frequently teaches in churches, conferences, and Israel tours. He and his wife, Sharon, have three children and reside in Minnesota, USA.
