Centennial Institute Announces Inaugural Centennial Impact Summit

June 9, 2025

LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Centennial Institute, Colorado Christian University’s public policy think tank, will host their inaugural Centennial Impact Summit, September 26-27, 2025, at Colorado Christian University.

The mission of the Centennial Impact Summit is to provide an academic forum for Christian conservatives to engage with some of the top thought leaders on the most-pressing ideological challenges to our society.

“The Centennial Impact Summit gives Centennial Institute the opportunity to address complex philosophical questions with grace and truth,” said Greg Schaller, Centennial Institute director. “By hosting these smaller conferences in conjunction with the Western Conservative Summit, we are able to be on the cutting edge of both the political and cultural fights of the age.”

The theme for this year’s Summit is Theology, Technology, and Anthropology: Reclaiming Embodiment in a Brave New World. Technology has called many long-held truths about what it means to be human into question. The more our reliance on technology grows, the more dehumanized our society becomes. How are Christians to be the embodiment of Christ to our communities? What is the proper view of personhood, society, and politics that will lead to human flourishing?

“At Colorado Christian University, we are committed to preparing the next generation of leaders to think deeply, live faithfully, and engage courageously,” said Eric Hogue, Colorado Christian University president. “The Centennial Impact Summit reflects our mission to confront the cultural and philosophical challenges of our day with biblical wisdom and intellectual rigor. As technology races ahead, this Summit challenges believers to keep faith and ethics at the center of our response. We are honored to bring together scholars, students, and cultural leaders to explore how biblical truth speaks into the deepest questions of our time.”

“From AI to bioengineering to virtual realities, we are reshaping the human experience —but often without reflecting on what we’re reshaping it for. This conference invites Christians to wrestle with how the image of God and the dignity of the body must shape our response to emerging technologies,” said Schaller. “We hope attendees will leave with a renewed commitment to the incarnational nature of Christian faith, and with practical insight into how to affirm human dignity in an increasingly disembodied world.”

The Summit will consist of five keynote addresses throughout Friday evening and Saturday, in addition to six breakout sessions throughout the day on Saturday. Breakout sessions will allow attendees to delve into specific areas, such as mortality, marriage & gender, technology & AI, and family-based policy agendas.
