Joel C. Rosenberg to Headline CCU for Israel Week
Feb. 11, 2025
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – New York Times Bestselling author and a leading voice on Middle East affairs, Joel C. Rosenberg, kicks off the Centennial Institute and Colorado Christian University’s 2025 CCU for Israel event at 7 p.m., March 3, in the McDonald Performance Hall.
Rosenberg is a bestselling author with more than 5 million copies of his books in print. His latest book is The Beijing Betrayal. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of All Israel News and All Arab News and the host of The Rosenberg Report, a prime-time weekly news and analysis program on TBN, the most-watched Christian TV network in the U.S.
“Joel Rosenberg’s voice is one of clarity and conviction,” said Greg Schaller, Centennial Institute director. “His insights into Israel’s role in the world and the challenges it faces are invaluable in helping us understand why standing with Israel is both a moral and strategic imperative.”
Rosenberg’s lecture is the first in a weeklong series of events by CCU and the Centennial Institute, including a Wednesday noontime lecture from Dr. Matthew Levitt (The Washington Institute) and chapel presentations from Dr. Jeff Myers (Summit Ministries) and Dr. Michael Rydelnik (Moody Bible Institute).
CCU for Israel began in December 2023 as an evening of unity, bringing together Jewish and Christian leaders who share a common commitment to supporting Israel and promoting peace in the region in response to the heinous attacks on October 7, 2023. Since then, CCU and the Centennial Institute have continually reaffirmed their commitment to stand with Israel and the Jewish people.
“At a time when we have seen the eruption of antisemitism and Jew hatred all around the world, and especially on college campuses, we want to affirm our support for the Jewish people and highlight Israel and what Israel represents,” said Donald Sweeting, CCU’s chancellor.
“The Jewish people were called to be and have been ‘a light to the nations’ despite repeated attempts to destroy them,” said Sweeting. “President John Adams rightly said that ‘the Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation.’ During CCU for Israel week, we will not only remind our community of this, but we will also highlight the Jewish roots of our Christian faith.”
