Dr. Peter Kerr is the Dean of the School of Business and Leadership at CCU. He is President of Kerr Communications which delivers media training, crisis planning, intercultural communications, and leadership improvement. He holds undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Psychology from the Air Force Academy, an MA in Communications from the University of Washington, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Business Administration with emphases in Leadership and International Business from Northcentral University in San Diego.
Peter’s traveled to more than 50 countries on six continents and speaks multiple languages to include Danish. He’s been interviewed by dozens of media outlets ranging from CNN and FOX to Der Spiegel and Al Jazeera. Peter was deployed in 2003 to the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, was in charge of media relations during the 2004 Ronald Reagan Funeral, served as the Chief Media Liaison Officer for all Outdoor Games in Beijing for the 2008 Olympics, and was the main media relations trainer and crisis manager for the 2010 World Equestrian Games. He is a published author, ordained minister, popular speaker, and serves on the board of Colorado’s C-12.
