Mira Hughes serves as the Assistant Donor Manager at the Centennial Institute.
Growing up on the East Coast, her love for history came naturally. Mira’s childhood was situated right in the heart of memorable places of the American Revolution, such as Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Boston. Even from her earlier years, she was around history and politics attending the Easter Egg Roll in ’02.
She thinks that history is one of the most important values a person can preserve and pass on from generation to generation, that is why she chose CCU to be her alma mater. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from Colorado Christian University in May 2022.
Not only does she have a strong interest in history, but she is passionate about the arts. Whether she is visiting a museum, expanding her art portfolio, or doing photography, she always finds ways to incorporate art into the day-to-day.
Mira is also an avid rock climber with an interest in the sciences. She has a heart to learn new things and especially enjoys international travel, expanding her knowledge of different cultures. She is currently perfecting the Korean language to hopefully soon visit family in Korea.
