Join us for our December Distinguished Lecture Series as we hear from Michael Knowles, Daily Wire contributor and author of the book: Speechless: Controlling Words, Controlling Minds. This event is hosted in partnership with the Young America’s Foundation.
Our republic was built upon the ideas of freedom of conscience and free public discourse. However, over the past few years, free speech has come under attack. Political correctness, woke opinions, and cancel culture silence opposing viewpoints daily. How did we get to this point? And how do we fight to restore our First Amendment rights?
Michael Knowles will examine how the control over words and ideas leads to direct control on the minds of our fellow citizens. In a time where something you post on social media creates fear of retribution and “cancellation,” Knowles will discuss how to fight – and win – the war of ideas.
